So, I've Been Furloughed

I'm not going to let it own me. I'm not going to let the next few months be all about how I'm now out of work for the first time in almost a decade. Nope. I'm also going to do my best to not blame my employer for what's happened. What's happened has happened, and it's up to me to make the best of it.

That being said, a photographer such as myself is in need of some form of income. Now, with our Stay At Home order in place, I can't exactly go out and start taking photos all willy-nilly, unless someone knows how I can go about getting press credentials, and start photographing on the front lines of all this, while also not contracting COVID-19.

In the interest of safety, and wanting to see the end of 2020, I am currently working on a little shop to sell photo prints out of. These will be selections that you've probably seen in my Instagram feed already, but also photos that I might not have published previously. I'm going to try to have selections available so you're able to choose canvas or metal prints for different images, as well as different sizes for each print. Each print will be made to order, as I currently do not have any stock or have the means to maintain stock at the moment.

I'm also considering having a mystery box subscription sort of thing, so that you can receive a 3x5 inch print once a month of a randomly selected photo that I have in a few boxes around my house. You might even get a Polaroid image. Who knows? It's a Mystery!

PLEASE let me know if any of that sounds interesting to you.

Another thing that I'm going to start doing... or... restart... or something like that... is STREAMS!

Look, I've got a lot of free time on my hands, now, and I don't have the woes of my day job dragging me down, so I'm going to be filling the time slot where I normally would be working with streams. I haven't exactly decided what I intend on streaming, so it'll be a bit of a journey. Just you and me. We'll figure it out, I promise.

In the mean time, please keep an eye here on my blog and also:

I appreciate each and every one of you, and I'm looking forward to being more outwardly creative for your enjoyment and entertainment!
